My name is Mark and I'm 44. I live in Los Gatos, California, USA and have 3 beautiful kids. The past couple of years have been very tough as my relationship with my wife is ending. I grew up in the area, but have lived in Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco as well.

I'm new again to photography and have been using this site as a place to show my experimentation and learn from others. I started out in 2008 doing Project 365 and really enjoyed using flickr as a journal. I get a lot of pleasure looking back at certain days and remembering them from the shots I took.

Some of my posts are for me because they mark some feeling or event. Some are fun. And some are shots that I'm proud of that I hope to get criticism and pointers.
