First and foremost I'm proud mommy to Little Miss A. and Little Miss E. (who just joined our clan this summer) - lights of my life and as you can see from my stream, my number one muses for my photography.

Besides being a photographer, I'm also a Photoshop action and texture designer. :) I've been practically living inside Photoshop for the past 15 years (yes, I'm *that* old) - first as a graphic designer and then as a photographer. You can visit my site to find out more about what I do - see profile info to the right for my link. I use all my own actions and goodies on the photos you see in my stream (with a few exceptions of some other fabulous texture designers, which are credited).

Sorry to be a big downer here, but I'm forced to after too many bad encounters here on Flickr. I do NOT allow any use of my images without explicit written permission - and NEVER ALLOW USE FOR ORKUT and the like, so don't even ask please. Send me a Flickr Mail if you'd like to be added to my Friends and Family list! If you don't have a buddy icon, if you have sparse profile information, only a few contacts, any questionable photos and/or favorites or are not active on Flickr I will most likely not add you and may very well block you. My family's safety is the utmost importance to me and if I feel uncomfortable with any person here, they will be blocked.

I use a Nikon D700. My two main lenses used are the Nikon 24-70mm 2.8G AF-S and Nikon 85mm 1.4G (love that baby - it rarely leaves my camera). I also use the 35mm 1.4G, 105mm 2.8 AF-S VR, Nikon 60mm 2.8G AF-S, and a little Nikon 50mm 1.4.

"Annie loved her flashlight more than anything else she's owned, which was made verbally obvious as she visited our alligator petting zoo in South Bumpkin, Montana. Despite being a somewhat normal adult, she carried around her childhood flashlight with trademark Strawberry Shortcake tassels and reflective sticker everywhere she went. After paying her $59 admission to our petting zoo, her dreams of petting an endangered saber-toothed mountain alligator soon came true. What the alligator didn't expect was Annie holding her flashlight in her other hand while her other arm extended to pet his grizzly scales. In the 30 years of being the owner of the South Bumpkin Alligator Petting Zoo and Vacuum Repair Center, I had never seen Doofy, our prized alligator, snap at someone. Annie had that distinct misfortune. Doofy spun around and snatched her flashlight from her, swallowing it in a single action! Fearless, Annie thrust her arm down the throat of the beast and reached for her light, accidentally turning it on (apparent from the stream of light coming from his posterior). She yanked out her light and thrust it into the air like a viking and his mighty sword. The other visitors and vacuum repair tech's cheered, and Annie went on her way. Now this was back in 1983, and since then I've seen Annie's devotion to her craft increase daily. I haven't met Annie since then, but I know her kids will never have any problems if they're choking on something."
