Started with Flickr in Nov 2007, but have been a photographer most of my life. Saved money from a paper route to buy my first Nikkormat and borrowed Nikkor glass from my dad whenever I could. Learned a heckuva lot from him about nature photography as well. My big inspirations were National Geographic, Life magazine, and the Time-Life Books Photography series.
I'm a huge fan of nature photos, but I'm a happy camper wandering around cities with a camera as well. I love reflected light, and water shows up in a lot of my photos (must be the influence of my time in the Navy).
I live in northern New England, love it here, and hope it shows in my photos.
