Only recently got into photography. I actually started off using my mobile phone... a Sony Ericsson K800i which has a 3.2Mb Mega Pixel camera built in which actually took surprisingly good photos.
I have since bought myself a Canon EOS400D DSLR which I practically take everywhere with me as, like most of you already know, the best photos always seem to turn up in the least likely of places and when you don't expect them.
Right now I've only got the bog standard lens kit that came with the body.
I would consider myself a happy amateur. I live in East Kilbride & Cumnock so if anyone is wanting to meet up to go on location shoots then please get in contact I often just go a drive around Ayrshire, Lanarkshire, Trossachs and Edinburgh.
