I'm a mother of a son and two daughters, grandmother of six. Love reading, especially history and biographies but also like mysteries and some adventure. We have a family of cats who share our home. I'm a Christian and am active in our church. Also enjoy traveling, especially to historic sites.

I'm sorry to say I don't know much about photography but I'm trying to learn. For me, the joy of it all is seeing the world around me in a new light, especially the beauty of nature and the wonderful creation we are so blest to live in. The eye of the camera has shown me so much more than I ever saw through my own eyes alone and I believe the hand of the Creator is very evident in all that I'm seeing.

I'm also enjoying the friends and acquaintances I've made here on flickr. They have shown me places and things I would otherwise never have gotten to see. And, best of all perhaps, is learning that people are people and, whatever part of the world we live in, no matter how far apart we are, when it comes right down to it, we are more alike than we are different.

Thanks for sharing your part of the world with me and I hope you'll enjoy seeing a little of mine. May God bless you.
