I'm 5"8" and 153 lbs wpth. I am self employed as an Independent FreeLance Field Agent. I'm sure many of you know what that is ,if your into photography. Like to be on the road and have GPS but like to be connected with the CB radio, on channel 19 or what ever. It's good for emergencys or to report road hazzereds that get driven by and cars that break down or get damaged from accidents and emergency situations. Like one time a matterss was in the road of a Jearsy Barrier Lane on Rt I-95 north. And was blocking it on a 45-50mph road way restriction on a day with no construction, it was the summer. So I called it in to channel 9(emergency). And they got to it by the time I came back from that 20 minute drive. I make any car that I use for work into something with all the toys that I need,Jumper packs,CB,Cell,GPS,Signal bulbs, gas can, etc. And don't forget the tunes, got to have a halfway decent stereo system. Enough for fedelity when enclosed. I think Field Agent work is great for a person like me who enjoys snapping pics for a reason and fax a small report to the company that contracts you out. And earn a good pocket of change for something that I like to do and at least have a reason to do I am into 8-track player/srecorders and vintage electronics(reels to reels of all sort and vintage recording equiptment for doing the old Floyd sound. I kill over audio equiptment. I play ukelele O.K. for a perrson who never took a leasson, and gutair and Dumbek(middle eastern drum). When I get really inspired, I make loops for DJ's and small time promo and production firms for constent back track sound that has a beat and repeating effects(good for dance3 and trance loops, not that I really like that music, but I can lay down some Phyicadelic stuff with a rythum for those companys. I also have sold 2 pictures so far to Americain Greeting Cards Company. That only gopt paid about 35.00. But oh well. I want to put together a portfolio and eventually go to school for photoraphy, but it's stupid but I am scared that I won't have the room or/for the equiptment to develop my own film.If they don't havre a lab acessable(they must?) But I have all types of cameras and formats. I also collect complete sets and gift sets of older cameras, in there origanal boxs if avalable. I ebventually want to travel out of the U.S. and get some real photo opts, if there out there. I am having trouble putting together a portfolio. Due to that I should get a better scanner with more than 3000dpi. I have been looking on e-bay for a negitive and slide scanner, they are not too expensive, but they are electronics and unlkess I buy new with these new PC tpye of driven equiptment. I don't want to buy some junk for I don't know to to much on what to atleast look for, but I check out info on the net at least to inform myself. I think that would be an asset to have a negitive film scanner. I had one with a scanner for regular scanning with a negitive and slide mode but it was old and broke. It was givin to me free anyway and I did get use from it.. I have a photo scanner printer. But it doesn't do negiti\ves It's a Lexmarx X2350 printer scanner combo. There are alot to choose from on e-bay and the prices are such a fluction in range and all I can do I ask questio0ns and read the ad. I know what I w3ant and I just have to figure out and think how bad I need one. I want to build a studio or get in the position where people hire me to be a photographeer at there up scale partys or showers or futions, Not weddings, that's too risky. But peolpe and there pets. I want to provide the photo service that people need not what they can get. People pay gooid when they get what they want and it's easy for me to do because I love it. Travel to events, conserts, funtions, all the job I already do, portaits, animals and owners, Christmas cards Etc. My life is between music and photography, that is what I love and can't seerm to get going.
