I live in a small Missouri town just south of Cape Girardeau.

Most of my subjects are things I find interesting around me. I try to capture the beauty of everyday ordinary objects, the natural patterns of landscapes, and the effect of lighting.

I started taking pictures in 2006,
with a canon point and shoot ps540,

In the fall of 07 I upgrarded to a canon Rebel XTI
I enjoy all the options the rebel allows me and the raw files provides many more opportunities to work with the images.

In July 2009 I started using Photomatix to process my photos. I tonemap all my images now, even if I only take one shot.

in April 2010 I upgraded to a Canon MarkII 5D. I also moved up to CS5, and updated my computer to a IMac.

I am a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, and the vice president of the River Region Photography Association, a member of Missouri Hands, and the Hart-Stepp Photo/Arts Club.
