I've been drawing and sketching since I was a child, went to art school but dropped out to form a band. When I was about 21, I started taking a sketchbook along to clubs and bars and gigs, just as a way of recording passing thoughts and fancies... (and also because I'm fairly painfully introverted.) and carried on, almost like a diary through most of my 20s.

Revived this habit again recently, mainly as something to do when I go to gigs by myself. (Not many of my friends share my taste in music.) Except these days, people kept stopping me and asking to see what I'm drawing. So, uh, this Flickr site is the answer to that question.

Update:

I've had my artwork published in quite a few places - magazines like Plan B, also featured on blogs like Mind Hacks and TED.com, as well as the Migraine Aura Foundation. I have done album artwork, t-shirt designs and posters for quite a few bands - including Erol Alkan and Richard Norris (as Beyond The Wizards Sleeve), Jim Clements and the Right To Die, Luxembourg, The Asteroid No. 4 and The Quarter After.

I do architectural drawings which have been featured on local news sites including Streatham Pulse, The Londonist and the Streatham Guardian. I have had several shows now, including a joint show as part of the Streatham Festival, and a solo show at Streatham Library.
