I'm an avid amateur travel photographer. Until recently and mainly due to the often adventurous nature of my travels (e.g. rafting expedition in the Honduran jungle) I preferred using my point-and-shoot cameras - currently a FujiFIlm FinePix F300EXR and a Canon Powershot D10. DSLR purchased in November 2011, camera of choice was a Nikon D7000 with their AFS DX 18-200 VRII lens.

I post shots on here for my own and others' pleasure. Most of them but not all are licensed under Creative Commons which means that you can use them free of charge as long as you respect some minimal conditions (such as crediting me, see the details in each picture for more information). Consequently my pictures are currently already used on a number of online travel blogs and on Wikipedia. I always appreciate when people let me know that they liked one of my photos or used them for something.
