Hi, my name is Barbara and I was a "stay-at-home" mom now part-time librarian, 4-H leader, dog trainer, therapy dog handler, horse loving farm girl, who loves to sew and do anything creative. I love photographing displays of felted art, my dogs, horses & family events for here and www.PitBullLadyDesigns.blogspot.com . I especially enjoy watching projects come together wether is is felted art, crafty stuff or sewing. I come from a long line of crafty women (and men), making things because of need or want and less money, amazing what we can do with baler twine, old wire and some duct tape.

Learn the rules and then bend them, is my view of crafting. I have never met a pattern I didn't want to tweek, a painting design to restroke my way or a book I wouldn't love to rewrite, not really to change another's art but Inspired try something my way.

My internet name came from the mis-understood breed of dog that have lived with me since the 1980's and my kids show in 4-H. I do Dog Safety Programs with my daughter's Ready Dog for local children in school and am known as Ready's Mom or the PitBullLady.
