My name is Rick Burtzel, and I live in Central Minnesota. I'm just getting into photography, but I love it and hope to become as talented as some of you on Flickr!

I also love traveling, my golden retriever Penny, sports, and being on the lake! Most of my photos will revolve around, and hopefully tell stories about, my experiences with these things. I also enjoy getting to know new people, so the back and forth interaction on this site keeps me coming back daily. I love hearing what people think and getting advice on my shots, so don't hold back!

Beyond that, I do sales and marketing work for a company that manufactures effervescents, and play in a highly competitive amateur baseball league for former college/pro players in the summer months.
