Thanks for visiting my photostream!

I haven't gotten around to writing anything profound here, but I was honored to be the IbyB Group's Spotlight Artist -- you can read that interview here. You can also read my interview from the The World Through My Eyes group here.

"Jeff is one of my favourite photographers. He has a natural ability to transform just about any subject matter into a work of art. He is consistent in his approach to setting up as well as the delivery of the finished image. They are, on every occasion, worth a long and lingering appraisal, always in the large size to see all the detail he has maintained from the original subject.

He is consistently available to comment on the images his contacts share and to give valuable and knowledgeable advice. I value his input and have learned so much from both him and his style of photography.

Thank you Jeff for so much enjoyment, pleasure and the chance to see the world through your eyes."

"i think it is about time i write this! Actually it is L-O-N-G overdue! Jeff, you have one of the most beautiful photo streams on all of flickr...
At the risk of sounding like i do not have a life, i want you and everyone out there in flickr land to know that to scroll through your sets is one of my favorite things to do. The beauty you capture is truly amazing...if i ever get to ANY of the places you have photographed, i do not think i would have the courage to shoot....nothing i could do would come close to what i have seen you do here! ( i would be really, seriously bummed, because i live to take pics...but i would be forced to retire the camera, and give it a proper burial!)
i have no clue how we met...i just know it has been a while, and i am sure i relentlessly commented on your shots to the point of you thinking i was some crazy person...and you were so right...i am a crazy person, but harmless! (so i am told) Someday i would LOVE a shoot with you...waterfalls, of course...but only AFTER i get a tripod that meets your approval!!!
Keep on doing what you do...it gives me something to aspire to!"

"Against the advice of my sweet, little hamster [Peanut] who thinks Jeff is a little twisted for wanting to see him ride on the backs of a German Shepherd Dog, I have decided it was time to write a little something about one of my favourite flickr photographers.

I never thought it was possible but I'm pretty sure Jeff's photos are even more beautiful than the actual scenery he's photographing.
His images are always so bright, full of colour and crystal clear, in fact, I am jealous of the incredible clarity he achieves...I don't know how he does it.

When I visit his photostream, I feel as though I'm traveling right along with him. Whether it be a mountain range, a flower or wildlife, Jeff has a way of capturing natures beauty in it's purest form.
He never over processes his images and although he doesn't say, I'm pretty confidant that most of the work he posts is straight from the camera.

Simply put, he is one of the best landscape photographers on flickr, not to mention one of the nicest and funniest people here too.
Jeff, I can't remember how I first stumbled upon your photostream but I am so glad that I did, you are a true talent and inspiration to us all."

"I was introduced to Jeff's photos by one of his co-workers, also a talented photographer. It is a continuing pleasure to see Jeff's view of the world. He expands my horizons by sharing the places he's visited & he brings to each a fine eye for composition. I'm very happy that I met him & have the opportunity to see his work!"

"What I have come to learn about Jeff's from his images is his wonderful eye for detail. His images always reveal a real talent for composition and an ability to capture the light.

His images are always natural, never over-processed, and are full of interest and colour. Wether it is his Shaker series, his stunning landscapes (looking at the grand landscape or the intimate landscape) or his characterful images of animals and birds I always find looking at his pictures a joy.

I still haven't worked out how he manages to travel so widely and visit so many wonderful places, but I am so pleased he does!

You are a fine photographer, Jeff. Thank you for sharing your images with the rest of us."
