I'm an amateur photographer looking to expand my photographic and creative skills. I started my love of photography in high school photography classes in 10th-12 grades, shooting with a Pentax SLR. I loved working in the wet lab! There is nothing better than watching the image appear on the paper as you develop it! I continued this love with a photography class in college. I spent many evenings working late into the night taking photos, developing the film, and printing the pictures, sometimes til 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning.

I recently rediscovered photography after an absence of around 8 years. I've gotten into digital and take a lot of my photos on my Pentax OptioS 5i, which I keep in a velvet lined Altoids box and a Nikon D50. I recently got a Nikon D200 which I'm learning to use and really enjoying!

I'm considering taking family portraits, baby photos, engagement and pregnancy photos professionally, but need to build up my portfolio first!

In a newfound effort to increase my time being creative, I started the 365 Days project in November 2007 and I'm loving documenting my life. I've also started drawing again and keeping a visual journal and will be posting images from that here as well!

I love getting comments, both positive and constructive, so I'd love to hear your feedback on my work!
