Today, thousands of species are threatened with extinction.
Every minute 75 acres of Rainforest is disppearing. At the current rate of deforestation, some scientists are predicting
that in another 18 years, 80% to 90% of the entire Rainforest will be gone. The US National Cancer Institute has identified 3,000 plants that are active against cancer, and 70% of them are in the Amazon Rainforest. Their is vision of hope for the future. With our assistence, the Shipibo community has recently acquired 55,000 acres of tribal land and we are assisting 18 other communities.
