Paul in Japan - View my most interesting photos on Flickriver

It is now 22 years since I left England to live overseas. In that time I have lived in the Bahamas, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan (again). 20 of these years have been in Asia, and 13 of those in Tokyo.

I have been fortunate that my jobs for the past twenty years have allowed me to travel. When I travel I take my camera, as photography is my one true hobby.

Although I have used many cameras in the past, I am currently using a Nikon D700, with the following lenses:

Nikon AF-NIKKOR 24mm f/2.8 D
Nikon AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8 D
Nikon AF-S VR Micro-NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED
Nikon AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5 - 5.6G IF-ED
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm f/4G ED VR N

The camera and the lenses are great.

    Irene Steeves says:

"Paul is one of the most talented photographers I have had the pleasure of meeting on Flickr.
His stunning floral macro photography is sure to captivate and never disappoints. In a sea of often overdone or bland photos, Paul's works are beacons of beauty and light that stands miles above the rest.
His work is a constant inspiration to me. I strive to glean all that I can from his masterful compositions everything from technique to virtues such as patience and persistence can be learned from his stream.

Paul epitomises what Flickr is all about; friendship, support and inspiration.

Thank you Paul for always finding the time to look at my efforts."

"Paul was added to my list of contacts shortly after I joined flickr. His pictures of Japan and eastern Asia have opened my eyes to the beauty that exists in this part of the world. As a lover of orchids, especially lady's-slipper, Paul's orchid set is truly inspirational! Several of his slipper pics are second-to-none! Well done Paul!"
