Currently I am using a Pentax K20d for my photography sessions. It produces pictures of approximately 14M. My pictures have a minimum of processing, usually I only correct minor exposure problems, crop the picture if needed, and re-size for uploading. I normally upload photos in a 640 X 480 resolution, if you would like something larger contact me here.

I first started taking pictures while living in Japan in 1959. As I remember it was mostly black & white (I couldn't afford color film) and the ASA was about 25. The base in Japan had a darkroom in the Arts and Crafts area that I could use to process and print my pictures. I continued taking pictures and acquiring equipment all the way through high school. At that time I figured out how long it would take for me to be able to support myself, so I put it on the back burner and ended up in the military service anyway. This was during the Viet Nam build up. I did acquire a beautiful Ashai Pentax Spotmatic with three lenses during that time. I use it traveling an dfor personal shots.

I didn't get interested in photography again until 1999 when I acquired some medium format equipment on Ebay. I worked with them until 2009 when I got a quality digital camera, a Pentax K20d, which I could use with my Pentax lens. My photography from 1999 to 2004 was all in Alaska. At that time I moved back to my home in Texas and have been active here. I still return to Alaska every year to visit family and take pictures.

My main interest is landscape photography, along with historic buildings and local sights. I take some pictures of activities put on by non-profit groups. I do not like taking pictures of people or pets. I do so much better when the subject cannot make comments!
