In Daz*'s reality he is a mediocre photographer who is only doing a 365 because he's too stubborn to give up, his shots are dull-as unless they've been photoshopped and even then they usually lack originality, and heaven only knows why all these people keep visiting his stream. But as I say, that's in his reality. Whereas here where the rest of us are stood, none of that is even remotely true.   "I have known Darren for years and back then he kept putting himself down and disregarding his own very obvious talents when it came to work, music and life events. He himself never let me down and his talents were endless and he continued to improve in everything he did. It is very clear to me that even after a few years of silence between us, darren has a natural feel and ability for photography to which i am very jealous of. Taking on a 365 challenge is no easy task but is pulling it off well !! He is imaginative and his photos continue to impress and speak a thousand words !! so all i say mate is stop putting yourself down and take credit where credit is due. Oh and support liverpool !!   "Darren started out on here disregarding his own obvious talents, and running himself down on a daily basis. Thankfully over time he's come to realise what the rest of us knew straight away - that he has a natural feel and ability for photography. With his new found confidence has come a huge leap forward in his technical skills (to go along with the nautral feel).   "After kind words about my great mate Daz from the Wagster i thought id put my tuppence in. Daz is the reason I started this addictive quest through Flickr. Ive always had a desire for photography but just the occasional shot of certain things. Never did i imagine joining a website and adding 100's of shots for everyone to see. Its cause of Daz and his encouragement and advise that ive been hooked to this (now) obsession. His photograpy is damn right brilliant, adventourous and spellbinding. I echo B*wag when i say Daz doesnt give himself enough credit. I know this whole flickr thing isnt a competition but if it was, Daz would be up there with the best of em. Some of the stuff he posts, he picks apart with self critisism, where i can only look on in awe at his skill and dedication. So much so that ive started a "52" project. Basically cause unlike Daz i aint got the balls for a 365 (and cause he warned me against such a feat). So in a nutshell.... This guy is (in and G and T type way) thumbs up BRILLIANT!!!"
