I am an Irish artist based in the North East of England and I work in mediums of photography, digital art and film. I presently work as the Information Manager at arcadea, an organisation promoting the cultural equality of Disabled people.

Since 2000 I have worked in Disability Arts Contexts as a digital artist and have experience of recording, documenting and archiving Disability Arts Activity. I worked for Arts and Disability Ireland on a number of projects and worked in photography and digital art mixed media as part of the National Dis/Cover Festival held in Dublin 2003. I have also exhibited a collaborative installation with visual artist Lorraine Gallagher entitled ‘Motion’ at The Irish Institute of Art and Design. My film ‘Jelly Belly’ premiered and screened at The Irish Film Centre in Dublin and was launched by Kirsten Sheriden.

I have several years experience of photographing Disabled artists at work and Disabled people in Cultural contexts, whether professionally presenting their work (i.e. a theatre performance), or giving an artist’s talk at an exhibition, or actually involved in the creation of their work – a rehearsal, a workshop, in their studio and in discussion. I have many images which reflect the cultural activity, role and involvement of Disabled people in art and culture. These are actually extremely rare images and sadly exist as a reflection of the continued lack of visibility experienced by Disabled people in cultural contexts.

I'm interested in collaborative projects and work in a range of contexts, photographic art, moving image, digital art.
