My first 35ml SLR was a heavy Russian made Zenith that I bought in the mid-70s with the back pay from a long awaited pay award. It cost £40 and gave me years of enjoyment.

In between that and my present basic DSLR I have enjoyed the use of many manual, semi- and fully-automatic cameras. But I must admit that digital photography while versitile and convenient lacks the fun of flim and the anticpaiton of seeing the end results of your endevours in the dark room.

I am also a successful published freelance writer contributing to a number of Thai English language magazines and newspapers.

It should of course be obvious by looking at my personal photos that I am most definitely over the age of 18.
