Some years ago I dropped out of school without any qualifications, murmuring something about becoming a writer. However it didn't really happen and I ended up holding down a string of menial jobs for paltry wages. During one of my rather too frequent bouts of unemployment I penned the script to the Film Board funded short film Kid Biscuit And The King. And even though it wasn't very good more short films followed. As well as that I wrote the jokes behind the now finished BifSniff Cartoons. The last short film I wrote was Buliding A House, which was funded under the Irish Film Board/RTE/Arts Council Frameworks short animation scheme. In between all this I earn my crust, insofar as I can, with some freelance copywriting work.
