Professional portrait painter. Former church musician (organist/choir director). Degrees in music. Studied art in NYC at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Design and in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. While in art school, I worked as a newspaper photographer. Married to a church organist.

My photos have appeared on the cover of Budget Travel Magazine, in advertising for the Smithsonian's travel bureau, in the Philadelphia Inquirer's travel section, and in the InterDependent magazine of the United Nations.

My cameras are a Nikon D90 and a Nikon D5000 with the Nikon 18-200 zoom, the Nikon 60mm micro lens, and the Tokina 12-24.
