Besides the obvious, Emily is a great photographer because she doesn't keep her secrets to herself. A little more than a year ago, I met a National Geographic photographer and was impressed that rather than keep his trade secrets to himself, he was open about his techniques. I was even more impressed with Emily when I realized she does the same thing. She is very open and helpful; if you send her a message she replies quickly regardless of how busy she is. And Emily's photographs stir hundreds of emotions. She really knows how to tell a story with a camera. I am so glad she is on my contacts list.
