"Quando ho aggiunto Mimmo fra i miei contatti, mi ha molto divertito il fatto che si definisca un "fotofilo"... ho capito il perchè guardando le sue foto: Mimmo è un amante delle fotografia e lo dimostra con i suoi scatti che non sono mai banali, scontati, retorici. Secondo me ha un grande "occhio" fotografico perchè riesce a condensare in un'immagine la bellezza, la curiosità, le piccole e grandi assurdità della nostra vita quotidiana. Nel suo album non vedrete mai una foto "cartolina" ma solo scatti che hanno un significato artistico, per di più "conditi" da un titolo assolutamente aforistico e tagliente. Mimmo è capace di spaziare dalle street photo alle macro con eguale maestria e fantasia ed è quet'ultima che distingue un fotofilo da un fotografo!"
