Q: Do you see a social function in photography? If so, what?
HCB: "I'd say that photography has a sociological content, but that's not all there is to it."
Q: What is your relationship with your camera?
HCB: "To me the Leica is a sketchbook, a psychiatrist's couch, a deep warm kiss, an electromagnet, a memory, the mirror of memory."
