I have been in and out of photography and video since high school. Had I to do it again I would have chosen that course of life, traveling the world shooting video. I have been editing video since high school. The first editor I used was an old Sony 3/4" tape to tape system. Now, I use the Adobe Production Suite CS5.

I bought my first digital a few years ago, a Nikon D80 with two very crappy stock lenses. After my first season down on the Ice (McMurdo Station, Antarctica) I sold my Nikon setup and bought a Canon 5D Mark II and two L series lenses. HOLY COW what a difference!

Occupation:
Systems Administrator. Pros: I love technology and it did get me to Antarctica. Cons: it is so hard to get out from behind the computer to do something else, tend to get stereo typed into it.

Favorite things to shoot:
Probably has to be nature in all its facets. Landscapes, anything to do with water. The hard to find unusual aspects, which I usually have a hard time finding... Would love to do some underwater photography.

Travel:
yes, anywhere! still working on that.
