You can expect variety in my photostream, my lens ranges far and wide. I do tend toward outdoor beauty and candid compositions, with an eye for anything historic.

I'm interested in subjects that are natural and express what is pretty, poetic, peaceful, pastoral, pensive, or poignant. I love the interplay of light, color, texture, subject, viewpoint, distance, background, and angles. I rarely use formal compositions and don't Photoshop a lot. You wouldn't be likely to describe my photos as edgy, aggressive, shocking, noir, violent, cutesy, or disturbing.

Photography is my art form and my expression, a visual life journal. My goal is to observe, interpret, and record. I've learned much from the remarkable work on Flickr. I'm always happy to read your comments and ready to give them as well.
