I'm a photographer for fun. Many of the pictures I publish here originate from my photoblog. Go check it out if you like what you're seeing here.

I occasionally blog about what interests me at www.weisserth.net. Naturally, photography is one of those topics.

I love to travel and my more recent travels have led me to China, India, USA and through much of western Europe.



I have started taken an interest at shooting urban motives with people and objects in motion high up on my favorites list. Eventually, some of those shots made it to Flickr Explore.

Just a quick note at the side: I have noticed that a lot of rude folks on Flickr are using the "People in this photo" feature to lure traffic to their images by associating dozens of popular Flickr users with their images. This really annoys me and if I see someone doing that (yes, I'm talking to all those Explore Whores!), I will block you.

Gear

I have turned into a loyal Olympus user, owning a both an E-5 Four Thirds and an E-PL1 Micro Four Thirds camera, using a variety of Olympus Zuiko Digital lenses, the occasional Panasonic lens and - with a passion - a lot of Minolta MC/MD lenses adapted to Four Thirds and Micro Four Thirds using adapters.



I'm also a happy owner of a Canon PowerShot S90, which is always in my pocket. It's a great tool to work with, also when using CHDK.

I still enjoy exposing on film, using either a Canon EOS 300 with a small set of basic lenses or rather my better Minolta equipment, based on two XD7 bodies and a large collection of premium prime lenses.
