I am a dog lover and photographer living in rural southeast Michigan. My love for dogs led me to digital photography, which quickly became an obsession with photographing dogs and I now spend my days in search of canine subjects for my photos.

I specialize in candid photos of dogs. Unlike many dog photographers, I am not a pet dog photographer (i.e., I am not hired by owners to photograph their dog). Rather, I take truly spontaneous and candid photos of the dogs I encounter each day as I'm exploring the world around me in search of canine subjects.

Of course, I encounter other interesting subjects while I’m on the hunt for my dog photos. As such, I do photograph other things, and have a particular interest in playful subjects and fun finds. I also enjoy drawing, painting and working in mixed media.

I like to combine my other creative interests such as drawing and painting with my photography, and create digital art and other mixed media pieces featuring a variety of subject matter (including dogs). My work in this area is playful and intended to make you smile.
