Nelson Algren said you cannot know Chicago unless you know her alleys. He was so right. Sadly, her rougher side is fading; replaced by something more sinister--bland. I am a font slut and a type maniac. I am, for now, smitten with the paste-up; I think its the ephemeral and mostly organic nature.

I notice everything. I read everything. Sometimes I want to save it. Sometimes I have a lovely SLR (just learning, thank you), sometimes a point-and-shoot and almost always an Iphone with at least 10 photo apps. Sometimes it lands here. Sometimes it lands on Instagram. Find me there as madamelazonga. The stuff on Instagram is a little different. Cheers.
