  "Die Fotos von urbanlegend (Monika) wirken zuerst sehr unaufdringlich und zeigen ihre Qualität erst bei längerer Betrachtung. Der Fotoapparat scheint längst ein Teil Ihres Lebens zu sein, der Sie ständig begleitet. Es entsteht ein wunderbares Puzzle einer urbanen Lebenswelt. Die Dinge sind die Hauptdarsteller in den Bildern, aber nichts wird unangemessen in den Vordergrund gestellt. Die Zustände werden dokumentiert, wie sie sind und nicht lange umkurvt für den gelungenen Bildausschnitt. Mit diesem nüchternen Blick gelingen auch einige Blumenbilder ganz wunderbar unkitschig: die Blumen sind halt so wie sie sind! Oft wandert Monikas Blick nach oben, zeigt uns Fassaden, Bäume, Dächer an denen wir sonst ohne Aufmerksamkeit vorbei laufen würden. Es sind kleine Abweichungen vom Alltäglichen: ein Tor ohne Zaun, heißer Dampf auf einer Baustelle, die die Aufmerksamkeit fesseln. Diese Bilder, so unspektakulär sie doch im Einzelnen daher kommen, wirken in ihrer Gesamtheit noch lange nach - einfach schön!"

  "First of all I think Monika is very rich person ! Her huge heart is filled so much with feelings, dreams and imaginations - that it would be enough for three or even four Monikas :-)
  
  Being great woman, she still has sensitivity of a child.
  You will see this in the way how she looks at the things, and in comments, which she writes.
  
  Monika constantly lives in two countries at the same moment ... when she is in Sweden, her soul miss Polish willows, while in Poland - she sails to Malmo memories.
  It isn't easy, being at home to miss the home. But from the other side -it's nice to be at home on the each end of the road ... and just leaving home, to be on the way to the home too ;-)
  
  There are many bridges between Poland and Sweden, and Monika is one of the best builders of the bridges that I know. Great to have you here, Monika :-D"
