Special place in the city - Ljubljana
je del večletnega umetniškega projekta Vesne Bukovec, Lade Cerar in Metke Zupanič. Projekt smo izvedle že v Notingham (2004), Grazu (2006) in Sarajevu (2007). Trenutno potekata projekta v Ljubljani in Zagrebu.

Prebivalce posameznega mesta poprosimo, da nam predstavijo svoj poseben prostor v mestu in povejo njegovo zgodbo, oz. zakaj je zanje prav ta del mesta tako poseben.

Bistvo je usmerjeno v raziskovanje razmerij med posameznikom, prostorom in mestom. Iz prejetih informacij izdelamo zemljevid posebnih krajev v mestu, do katerih posamezniki gojijo intimna čustva.

In our ongoing art and research project we ask residents of various cities to show us their special place and tell us why this particular place is so special to them. Our aim is to research the relationship between the individual, the space and the city. We are mapping places containing intimate value in an urban structure of the city.

We are approaching different cities (Nottingham, 2004; Graz, 2006; Sarajevo, Ljubljana, Zagreb, 2007) on different levels using various methods of presentation.
