I'm always torn between experiencing the moment and photographing the moment, which is why I don't practice with my camera as much as I should.

But I don't think this two ideas need to be in conflict; I think the camera can actually help me to concentrate on my surroundings, helping me to view the ordinary from a different angle. My goal is to get more practice simply by getting the camera out and giving it a go. Repetition is the best way for me to become more comfortable with the principles of exposure & composition.
