I'm a New England girl, born on Cape Cod, presently living in New Hampshire. I'm a lover of the Arts.... painting, photography, music ( jazz, blues, rock, bluegrass, tribal-futuro ), graphic arts on my computer, crafts.

My love of the seashore has never left me. Because of that, I find myself drawn there - New England seacoast, the Maritimes and would LOVE to visit/experience the West Coast, esp. Oregon.

I also have a love of animals, the natural world around us, old structures...houses, barns, churches up in the maritimes and of course, lighthouses. Most importantly, the natural light. Born on the Cape, as I was, the Cape Light is in my blood. I notice when I'm looking for and find something I have to have a picture of, the natural light is a big feature. It reveals so much. Lol, well obviously. ;-)

This experience here with Flickr is so exciting for me. It inspires me with all the talent here. I do invite critique here to help me learn more.

I presently work in Paint Shop Pro... have been for about 7 years. I'm like a sponge, trying to soak up all good things I can possibly learn.

A little update here... like most of us here, I'm wanting to let you know, I've become a bit overwhelmed by the whole Flickr experience and I'm trying to divide up my time here between my photostream and catching up with my contacts and what you're all doing. Anyone I've added as a contact I've added because of work I've enjoyed and am inspired by. When I visit and comment, I get stuck, lol, because I usually have something I want to express and it slows me up but that time spent is so worth it.... soooo, please know that if you haven't heard from me it's because there aren't enough hours in the day, I'm not well organized and speedy yet but I'll catch up with you and your wonderful work.
