I began photography in 2003, initially using a 2MP camera. I have always been an admirer of natural beauty and the extraordinary way light fills and displays the world.

Photography is in many ways a beautiful deception, both in the framing and displacing of object images from their context. Also, in making static and iconic things that are in reality ceaselessly dynamic.

The world can never be taken for granted or possessed and photographs can at least, sometimes, through their static nature, remind us of the freedom that surrounds.

I currently use a Canon EOS and a RICOH Gx200 almost always shooting in RAW.
