i love to take pictures, mostly portraits of my kids, the more candid, the better. i tend to use natural light b/c i like it. i do have an external flash that i employ from time to time.

sewing is my greatest hobby and i make quilts, clothes, bags, whatever tickles my fancy. i love modern fabrics that are bright & saturated. pastels can be nice accents. nothing is off limits, but i tend to not sew with calicos or batiks & country tones (mauve, cornflower blue.) i like modern & traditional piecing, applique, and embroidery. conceptual pieces are lovely.
