I am an award winning, published, professional photographer.

I've been diligently working on my new careers as a writer & photographer for the past few years!
*I write magazine articles, blogs, reviews, and several books in progress.

I take my camera bag everywhere and no I'm not Papparazzi!
I do studio, editorial, runway fashion shows, fine art, erotica, celebrity and behind the scenes (TV/Film), and well just about anything I guess.

Amateur photography began with film and a Pentax in 1993. I did mostly black and white work then.
Then I crossed the digital divide with a new Nikon in 2008.
I have been "re-learning" and discovering the world in color mostly at this time.
I currently use (for digital) a Nikon D-700 with many accesories and lenses.
I still occasionally dabble in film. I should and will do more... I have boxes of fresh film in the fridge. I am "out of the box", unconventional, in regards to my lighting, props, ideas. I want to keep pushing the envelope. Other photographers I like inspire me and also present some great ideas they came up with just for me. So I appreciate any input to grow my art.

My goals are simple... to become famous through my art! What I want from this site is to network further with the fashion/film/photography community and to collaborate with some models. I would like to ideally find one or three dedicated models. My style ranges from showing people having a good time to my editorial shots to more fine art shoots. I like to be in your face and try new bold approaches. But most of all I want to make you look good!

I take shots of almost anything, so they are not ALL meant to be in a magazine! So, thanks for your creative criticism where appropriate only. A person always has room for growth.

Studio/Set shoot of celebrities/public figures:
About 8 hours of shooting, very casually. Followed by about 8 hours of selection, editing, uploading. And then the tweaking of tags and sets/groups, etc. All in all about 20 hours I'd say at that point.

My rate for a project like this? $2000. plus expenses. *Expenses could include costume rentals, hair/makeup artist, assistant, bigger studio rental, airfare (to come to you), etc. All items are discussed and agreed upon before being put into a signed contract.

My references? Everyone I have ever shot. I aim to please. I want my subject to be as comfortable as possible with me no matter what that entails.

I am also available as a "behind the scenes" photographer on TV/Movie sets. That fee is negotiable, please inquire.

I have a great time reading what he writes and looking at his pictures... look him up on DCF, follow his great blog and if you get the chance, meet him in person. He's "one of a kind"."
