These paintings represent a body of work that really took hold in 2009 - 2010. I've been layering my paint between thick clear glazes suspending what in essence are thousands of tiny colored lenses that filter light and reflect it back.

I've become comfortable working with processes that are difficult to control so accident dictates the paintings direction as much as intention does if not more.
