I'm an amateur ... just an amateur, trying to make beautiful pictures of basically all I see !
I'm not trying to make artistic shots, but just trying to take snapshots of my everyday life and trying to have'em as nice as I can !
My intend is to share my passions and center of interests thru my pics ... so I want them to be at their best !
I'm also the father of 2 kids, living with a wonderful wife, so I got an eye on my budget and cannot buy the 600mm VR f/4 along with the D3S I saw in my dreams ... ;-)

I've never took any lesson or any photography courses, my father teached me some basics and then I learned by myself ...

Why Nikon ?? Excellent question, I started with a couple of Minolta SRT-101 and 100x, and one day a friend of mine let me discover his F601 ... so as soon as I had enough money, I bought a F801s ... so the story began ! I don't have no real preference except I personnally find that Nikon SLRs fits pretty well in my hands and I feel confortable using their menus and functions, that's enough for me.

I rely on you to leave a bunch of comment under my pics wether you like 'em or not ... and mainly in this last case, I've got so many things to learn ...


IMPORTANT, READ BELOW :
Anyway, if I do not have access to your pictures (if you have any), if you have no avatar, no real name and if I do not like what I see (stolen images, pornography ...) you will be blocked. Sorry for this, but this has to be said.


Last thing, my nickname is 'Gaston', that's why some of my pics are tagged with "Gast" ...
