Hello there.
I'm a great fan of the outdoors and love the countryside of the British Isles, especially the wilder and more remote northern and western parts. Whenever I can I like to go for walks, either with walking clubs in Devon or with friends, or just by myself, and if you were to ask those people who walk with me they would probably comment on the large amount of photographs I take! It's true - ever since I switched to digital I have taken loads of photos of the British Countryside and I've ended up posting most of them here on Flickr.
When I joined Flickr my original intention was just to use it as a back-up for my photos in a location that was 'remote' from my home. However, in the last few years this site has now become my photograph album of choice for my various walks. The sets and collections on my profile are my own small tribute to the great British outdoors and anyone is welcome to browse through them.
