Comet will be "out of commission" for about 3 to 4 weeks after getting his leg bitten badly when he got into a scuffle with another dog. In the meantime, I will look thru the archives to post some old pics. Or maybe a shot or two of him in his "infirmed" condition. 8/12/09

Comet had surgery for bloat to bring in the new year. Almost lost him if it wasn't for the efforts of a really good animal hospital. Many thanks to them. So he is really out of commission til about the 2nd week of January. Then I can slowly get him back to "form". Thanks for all the kind emails. 01/08/2010

It was busy year for Comet's vet. In April he inhaled a foxtail thru his nose. In June he stopped eating. After a a week and alot of bloodwork, nothing could be found wrong with him. The vet prescribed 2 antibiotics and we(my daughter and I) had to hand feed him for 2 weeks. 12/20/2010
