How it all begins...

I was born and raised in the grey and dull city of Lima in Peru.

Talk about mix...


I am a photographer and a recent graduate on graphic design in London.

Even though I have a photography degree, I do not believe that having one nor having an expensive camera makes a photographer. I am tired of ´lucky´ accidents with pocket digital cameras. There are accidents and then there is photography.

I work perfect with both the analogue and the digital medium, both in photography and graphic design.

As a child, I never had a proper childhood (as in I lived on a hill) my friend was and is my now 13 years old fox terrier, White-eye.

Despite being born in Lima, I have never got used to the idiosyncrasy of the people here and always feel amused by it. I like feeling like a tourist everywhere I go. Discovering new things is what keeps me going.

Curiosity killed the cat: I own a supersampler, an oktomat, 2 LC-A, Holga 120N, Canon 20D, 2 Polaroid SX-70, Pentax Spotmatic, amongst various other. All in working order.

Just got my digital harinezumi (21/11/09) and im SO excited about it.
