I mostly take photos when out walking my 10 year old greyhound, Tim.

I've been a long time fan of Olympus, especially the OM1N SLR and XA rangefinder cameras. It's taken me a long time to switch to an Olympus DSLR - finally bought an E-1 on Ebay in November 2009. I love being able to use my legacy Zuiko lenses on the E-1.

Prior to buying a DSLR I used a Casio Exilim EX-Z750. I love this camera; it's a tiny compact but it has manual controls for just about everything, aperture priority, shutter priority, fully manual exposure. There's also a fixed focus setting as well as auto and manual focus. The fixed focus setting is very useful for taking photos of the dog running around on the beach as it means that there's no delay while the camera focuses, and there is almost no shutter lag.

My Olympus equipment now includes:
E-1
14-45mm
Battery grip
FL20 flash
Legacy lenses:
OM 50mm 1.8 (which is equivalent to a very useful 100mm in 35mm terms)
OM 135mm 3.5
