My interest in photography has been growing for a while but it is only recently that I have consciously started to try and improve my technique. I 'm too impatient to learn things properly and I like to experiment with the next new thing hoping that the basics will just come to me as I go.
I will take photos of pretty much anything but I do tend to avoid people unless they are just a part of the landscape, whether this is due to the poor results I get or a lack of interest in people shots who knows. I do like taking photos of buildings, landscapes, wildlife and anything with a scientific or unusual angle.
I currently live in Bristol (UK) and try to travel as much as I can afford. My equipment like everything else is on a budget. My Olympus E-410 is small cheap and great for travelling light.
