I've been taking the odd photograph for years now, but the digital age and a DSLR has refreshed my photography desires.

I took a night class in photography in 2010 which helped with the basics of using an SLR and composition.

In 2011 I completed a year long part time course. A Level 2 in photography at Macclesfield College.
This has increased my knowledge and, I think, has helped me to become more creative.

I've had a blog for while that's a bit on and off.
I've started using it for my photography. At the moment it has some of the images displayed here with some extra comments as a day to day diary type of thing.

In 2011 I changed my screen name to include the "W" from my middle name as there are two David Bailey Flickr users in Macclesfield !

I usually upload images to flickr that are smaller than the original size.

This year I have challenged myself to complete a 365 project.
