Studied @ Vancouver's Focal Point Studio (basic studio lighting, practical lighting, photojournalism, business practices). Focal Point is dedicated to providing the highest-quality photographic instruction available. They have established themselves as Vancouver's comtemporary leader in photographic education.

I think great lenses are far more important than bodies, so I'm currently shooting with a Canon EFS 17-55 f2.8 IS USM , a Canon EF 70-200 f4 L IS USM, and a Canon 100 f2.8 Macro USM on an EOS XTi body.

My work has been published in Moneysense magazine, Amazing British Columbia (hardcover) by Audrey Owen, the 2008 Maple Ridge Annual Report, and the 2009 Maple Ridge Annual Report.

"You learn to see by practice. It's just like playing tennis, you get better the more you play. The more you look around at things, the more you see. The more you photograph, the more you realize what can be photographed and what can't be photographed. You just have to keep doing it." Eliot Porter (1901-1990)

"To be a photographer, one must photograph. No amount of book learning, no checklist of seminars attended, can substitute for the simple act of making pictures. Experience is the best teacher of all. And for that, there are no guarantees that one will become an artist. Only the journey matters." Harry Callahan (1912 - 1999)
