I paint, animate, take photos....

I've been shooting long exposures
and light painting in Austin, Texas since '97.
I stumbled upon it and was hooked immediately while working at a photo lab.
While practicing I took hundreds of shots, superimposed negatives, and printed thousands.

I was perfecting my technique when in 2000 the lab closed due to the digital era taking over.
I quit taking photos for several years until I found Flickr and it re-inspired me.
I've discovered many awesome artists that shoot in similar styles!
I'll scan old prints and update my portfolio periodically.
I want to increase awareness of important issues.
Collaborating using technology is so powerful!
I like inspiring others and that's why I teach.
Including positive messages is important.
