I'm a part time crossdresser. After many years of off & on dressing, I've realised that this is not going to be just a passing phase. I'm just trying to have some fun with it & not take things too seriously. I've also come to the realisation that the best way for me to approach things is with humour. I just hope people are laughing with me & not at me!
It's a good feeling though when you get it right & even fluke a good photo or two. I really enjoy reading the profiles of other girls just as much as looking at their photos & enjoy meeting & chatting with GENUINE similar minded people. I've made some good friends since I've been here.
Over the last year or so ('09-'10) I've met some wonderful local girls & started venturing out on regular basis. It's been a real blast so far & something that I thought I'd never be able to do! Thanks Ladies!
Although I like to have fun I do realise that for some girls, this TG life is a serious & complex one. I apologise to them for my sometimes flippant approach but please know that I do understand & they always have my support.
PLEASE, BE WARNED! I don't like blocking people but I'm getting quite good at it! If you contact me but don't have photos of yourself, (that means face shots!) something written about yourself in your profile (for me, very important! I like to know a little about the person who's contacted me!) or a grey face icon, I will not reciprocate & will probably block you. After all, it is about sharing. No dicks either thanks! You can keep Mr Johnson zipped & as sure as the sun rises in the morning, photo collectors with nothing to offer will also be blocked! As for male admirers, I probably won't add you as a contact. Sorry guys.
I regularly go through my contact list & remove people who have been inactive or I never hear from. No offence but I like to keep my contact list reasonably small. So, if you want to remain pals, don't add me as a contact only to never contact me or leave a comment!! If I've dropped you & you want to re-connect, just drop me a line.

"I have had such a wonderful journey in the last several years due in no small part to the welcoming I've had the good fortune to have had from my "family on flickr"! When I first "landed" here I hoped to meet some friends that were near enough that a possibility of physically meeting to enjoy social events was one of my primary goals.
However, I learned very quickly how "globally" we "gifted girls" are and it has been an unexpected but tremendously uplifting feeling to know that my "friends" reside thruout the world. I may be biased but per size of population I think "down under" has more than it's share of lovely ladies including one of the loveliest I have the good fortune to consider a dear friend.
Kristen's personality is like a warm sunny day with blue skies, white clouds and songbirds. It envelopes you like a warm comfit-er and produces a smile regardless of your mood before. She has the slightly off sense of humour that immediately connected me (the warped escapee from the Pythonisque Prison I so love)
She greets you like you're family and that you are welcome anytime for a cuppa and a chat. It is very rare to find a friend who can convey such warmth and honesty without the aid of the physicality provided by being together, but Kristen does so with a natural ease.
We may never have the opportunity to sit "together" and share that cup, yet I will always "hold her close" in my heart with the intent of sharing warm and cozy "thoughts".
Thanks Kristen for expanding my "view" of how friendships can develop and flourish. I look so forward to the years ahead where we can continue to share our journey's and the true joy that sisterhood provides.
