I got started in photography kind of randomley in the beginning of 2007. I made an impulse buy one day (not uncommon for me) and picked up a kodak z650 digital camera. I have always loved the outdoors and especially wildlife ever since I was a young kid. Naturally, thats all I began shooting. After messing around with that camera for a few months, I realized that I really enjoyed photography, because it gave me something to take home after a great day outdoors. I wanted to get a little more serious, so I scraped up some money and bought a Nikon D80 and the 18-135mm zoom lens to go along with it. It is a great camera, and since I bought it, I've come a long way. I still have a long way to go though. Basically I am just learning things on my own, and it's exciting learning new tricks and techniques along the way. I have been shooting in manual mode for about 2 months now and I LOVE IT once I got comfortable with it, it has been amazing. My next goal is to start using photo shop. Right now all of my pictures are fully unedited. So, thats where I'm at right now, and I'm also waiting to save up enough money for another Nikon D80 because I dropped mine down a waterfall in southern Ohio a couple weekends ago and it is beyond repair. Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back in the game because I am obsessed!! Please give me feedback on any and all of my pictures because I really take your view into consideration to help me improve. Thanks!!
