I have been really into photography for 25 years now! It is the only thing I have done this consistently for this long. My interest and love for the craft only grows with each year. I don't know why I love it so much.

I learn so much and am inspired greatly by looking at other peoples work.

I also really love the equipment! I very much enjoy researching and learning about all the different kinds of equipment, new and old. Each lens has a different personality. Each manufacturer has pros and cons. Each one has a time and place where it is ideally suited. I love searching for new equipment, trying it out and experimenting to get new results. I know the camera does not make a good photographer, but it can certainly add a new "flavor" to the look. Like going from clean and crisp digital files from made from a pro Canon set up, compared to a 60+ old lens used in old spy planes together with 4x5 large format expired polaroid film... it is DIFFERENT!

I have recently started shooting film almost exclusively. It has slowed me down and caused me to approach each shot so differently. I was shooting way to many photos with my digital camera. Just "spray and pray". I have really loved the authenticity of the results with film. I found something just wasn't "true" about spending hours in Photoshop adding "dirt" and character to the overly clean digital files. I love film because it creates unpredictable effects which often results in an artful quality I never achieved with digital. Maybe that is just my own perception, but I have enjoyed it none the less.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who takes a moment to check out a few of my photos! I have no other venue to show my stuff, and it is a lot of fun to receive & give feedback to this interesting community of like minded photographers!
