Photography is a serious hobby to me. I'll make images from anything I find interesting. I do some portrait work, but only enough to help pay for gear. I'm willing to work for glass :). I do serve on the board of the Des Moines Camera Club (dmcameraclub.com) and love the interaction with other photogs.
I fill my days working as molecular biologist. So I am by nature a geek and a bit more technical about my pictures. I am always browsing flickr looking for images from others that inspire and challenge me.
